Don was the Technical Director of the Portland Film Festival. The Technical Director is responsible for ensuring that the films are screened properly, and that sound and lighting are of high quality, projection and screening management, technical rehearsals, technical staff supervisions, equipment maintenance, venue coordination, quality control, technical specifications, scheduling and logistics, live events and contingencies, technical budget management, communication with film makers, post-festival evaluation.
